Hi there!

Welcome to my website and thank you for the visit 🙂

When I look at my life today, so much has changed from what I wanted to be when I was 10 to what and where I am today (God has been great AH). The difference is night and day of course, for one I never really thought I would want to play Cricket for life or even knew how to play Cricket; I did it because my father thought I have what it takes. So if it wasn’t for him pushing me with my mom’s love (and pitai), and the support of my brother Adeel & 3 sisters – I might have been a F1 driver or a Golfer maybe, who knows. But let me tell you what I do know: that if you believe in hard work, whatever you end up doing, you will attain success directly proportional to your efforts (with a bit of luck and belief).

As I started playing more and more Cricket, first through the Imran Khan Pepsi Clinic, and then through various camps, I realized that I LOVE this sport! The moment I met Wasim Akram (and took his autograph too) in 1996, my mind was set to play Cricket for Pakistan and serve my nation with what God gave me. And in 1999 I was playing for that same great man who inspired me. Dreams do come true, you just have to want them to come true really bad enough to keep trying.

Playing for Pakistan was a dream yes, playing for more than 10 International Clubs and Leagues across the globe was beyond even my own dreams back then. Cricket has changed (e.g. T20), things have changed (e.g. Social Media, Technology, Travel) and on most part, the world has changed (e.g. 7.5 Billion people now versus less than half 50 years ago!).

As the world gets smaller, lets us all start playing a bigger role. Dream with open eyes, live with a clean heart, work hard like you mean business, and party hard too, but most importantly always have a plan, a dream on where you are going.

Please remember Pakistan, me and family in your prayers and I’ll do the same. Till we meet, take good care.

Love,
